Job Description

Overview

As an MMA Coach at UFC Gym, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive customer experience while delivering high-quality private training sessions and driving supplement sales. This position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to meet revenue goals, all while embodying the brand's values and philosophy.

Key responsibilities

  • Sell and conduct private and small group training sessions
  • Assist members and encourage their involvement in private training
  • Ensure accurate administration of client programs and supplement purchases
  • Arrive on time and prepared for training appointments
  • Participate in revenue generating activities including workshops and seminars
  • Achieve personal monthly revenue objectives for Private Coaching and Supplements
  • Conduct safe and effective private MMA training sessions
  • Maintain the organization and neat presentation of the fitness floor and training spaces
  • Act as a brand ambassador for UFC Gym and its Train Different philosophy

Required skills

  • Amateur or professional fight experience
  • Coaching experience with classes and one-on-one coaching
  • Purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or higher
  • In-depth knowledge of private training techniques
  • Working knowledge of dotFIT program and software
  • Ability to operate fitness equipment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Customer service focus with a friendly and positive attitude
  • Organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Basic computer proficiency in Word and Excel
  • Current CPR/AED certification
  • Certification from an organization recognized by UFC Gym
  • Minimum 1 year of related experience
