Bucks County custom manufacturer has an immediate need for a mixing professional to lead their mixing team. The ideal candidate will perform and manage a variety of mixing duties. Responsibilities: - Select and retrieve raw materials. Load raw materials in mill and blend according to process sheet. Check thickness of sheet material with micrometer. - Perform preventive maintenance and make minor repairs to mills. - Ability to use mills, forklift and hand tools (scales, knife, guillotine, scoop, hand trucks). - Detect and report improper operations, faulty equipment, defective materials and unusual conditions to proper supervision. - Maintain necessary records, along with the legible completion of daily reports. - Follow prescribed safety rules, company policies, procedures and regulations. - Use of adjustable measuring instruments, micrometers and weighing scales where interpretation is required. Use of working knowledge to plan, perform and make decisions concerning the set up of mills and the successful mixing of the compounds. - Ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of numbers including decimals and fractions. - Manage others. - Employee must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. - Ability to prioritize and communicate about the status of their work day and backlog are a must. Requirements: - High school or equivalent (Preferred) - Mixing: 2 year (Required) - Driver's License (Required)
