Overview

Cargill is seeking a Mining Utility Technician for their Food Enterprise in Moravia, New York. This role is essential for maintaining and repairing mining infrastructure and ensuring the operational reliability of various mobile support equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Key responsibilities

  • Complete preventative, predictive, and reactive industrial maintenance
  • Install, maintain, test, evaluate, and repair belts and ventilation infrastructure, mine shafts, and hoists
  • Service, inspect, and operate mobile support equipment including forklifts, trucks, tractors, and skid-steers
  • Perform routine tasks to ensure functional operation and reliability of assets
  • Document completed work and conditions found using maintenance computer software
  • Operate standard maintenance tools such as power and hand tools
  • Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
