Job Description

Overview

The Mill Plant Superintendent at Lane Enterprises Inc will have leadership responsibility for the manufacturing operations in the Fontana plant. This role includes overseeing maintenance, resource management, and ensuring employee training and safety compliance to improve production efficiency and quality.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee maintenance, facilities, and equipment management
  • Allocate and manage resources for production duties
  • Meet or exceed production efficiencies on all lines
  • Hire, onboard, train, and maintain personnel
  • Ensure employees are trained in safety and quality protocols
  • Report employee relations issues and administer disciplinary actions
  • Participate in staff selection and recruitment
  • Enforce work rules and maintain a safe worksite
  • Communicate performance expectations and coach employees
  • Meet all Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety requirements

Required skills

  • Ability to multitask and interact professionally at all levels
  • Basic office equipment operation and computer skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Minimum 5 years' supervisory experience in manufacturing
  • High school diploma or GED; bachelor's degree preferred
  • Valid state-issued driver's license
  • Current OSHA certification preferred
  • Experience in Continuous Improvement activities, Lean Management, or Six Sigma certification is a plus

What the company offers

  • Base pay range of $106,000 - $135,000 per year
