Mercy is seeking a Medical Technologist II for their microbiology department in Saint Louis. The role involves performing and interpreting laboratory analyses on patient specimens to support medical staff in diagnosis, while adhering to Mercy's mission and values.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform and interpret analysis on patient specimens using complex laboratory techniques.
  • Provide medical staff with information to aid in patient diagnosis.
  • Ensure duties align with Mercy Service Standards.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Up to 3 years of clinical laboratory experience as a certified MLS/MT or equivalent
  • Current certification as MT/MLS or categorical certification through ASCP or equivalent
