Meat/Seafood ButcherThe Meat/Seafood Butcher is responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience by preparing and ensuring the freshest quality product. The Butcher prepares precise and high-quality cuts of meat/seafood. They also maintain department conditions, to include proper ordering, inventory, production, and food safety standards in the meat/seafood areas. The Butcher provides product knowledge and expertise to our customers.Requirements:Ability to represent and support Big Y's culture of caring while living our Mission & Vision.Supports Big Y's commitment to Culture & Belonging.Must be proficient in ordering for the entire sales areas of both the meat and seafood departments.Must project a clean and professional appearance.Ability to operate within company policies, procedures, and standards.Willingness to cross train and learn other areas as needed.Ability to work a flexible schedule in accordance with the needs of the store.Must have completed Meat/Seafood Butcher and Culinary Training Program and/or passed a meat skills test.Must be 18 years of age or older.Pay Details $20.25 - 25.55 Pay Rate Type Hourly
