Overview

Wavepoint3pl is seeking a Material Handler to operate a forklift and manage merchandise in their warehouse. The role requires adherence to safety and operational procedures while ensuring efficient order selection and product handling.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate a forklift to move, locate, and stack merchandise
  • Perform order selection and inspection as needed
  • Unload trailer shipments safely and efficiently
  • Verify quantities and report discrepancies to supervision
  • Maintain equipment and materials in a clean manner
  • Keep appropriate inventory records and ensure proper stock rotation
  • Assist in physical inventories
  • Follow safety policies and procedures

Required skills

  • Prior forklift experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to lift 10-60 lbs
  • Basic English communication skills
  • Capability to work in varying temperature conditions
