Overview

JAG Marine Group is seeking a Marine Structural Welder specializing in aluminum GMAW to join their team at the Vigor Marine facility in Seattle, WA. This long-term contract role offers guaranteed hours and strong overtime opportunities, with a focus on producing high-quality welds to NAVSEA standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform aluminum GMAW welding using Pulse and Spray Transfer techniques
  • Produce RT quality welds in all positions, including consistent fillet welds
  • Adhere to NAVSEA 5XXX standards for crack arrest aluminum
  • Complete qualification tests in 2G, 3G, and 4G plate
  • Work in various environmental conditions, including heights and confined spaces
