Description: Position Overview:The Manufacturing Quotation Specialist role requires the ability to interpret technical drawings, bills of materials, production volumes, and manufacturing requirements to develop quotations for prospective contract manufacturing customers. As a Manufacturing Quotation Specialist, you will support Remington's Sales Team by learning the products, processes, and tools needed to estimate the manufacturing costs of medical devices.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Support Remington's Contract Manufacturing by utilizing engineering drawings, specifications, historical manufacturing data, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) to determine manufacturing processes and develop cost estimates for disposable medical devicesDevelop accurate manufacturing routings, calculating required labor hours, machine cycle times, and material yields for component fabrication, assembly, packaging, and sterilizationWork closely with Sales, Engineering, and Purchasing team members to understand the sales process, value propositions and steps of sourcing, manufacturing, and selling disposable medical devices Build and maintain trusting relationships with the internal teamAssist in project planning, scheduling, and task coordination Update and maintain records for the quote development process Engage with the Sales Engineer and other stakeholders and maintain project documentationAdhere to and ensure compliance with all company procedures, work instructions, drawings, specifications, and all other Quality System requirements Adhere to and ensure compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP), current ISO13485, and FDA requirements Requirements: Minimum Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or related field (or experience equivalency) preferred Ability to read and interpret mechanical or engineering drawings (dimensions, tolerances, materials, and specifications)Ability to review and work with Bills of Materials (BOMs)Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., lookups, pivot tables, conditional formulas)Detail oriented, ability to analyze data and draw logical conclusions Strong drive, interest in the Medical Device industry and the healthcare industry Excellent communication, prioritization, and organizational skills PI1f15065de5-
