Overview

The Manufacturing Engineering Manager at CFS leads engineering operations in a manufacturing setting, focusing on project execution and cross-functional collaboration to enhance production efficiency and drive product innovation. This role emphasizes continuous improvement, quality management, and team leadership within a growth-oriented company culture.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and manage manufacturing and engineering teams, ensuring effective workload distribution.
  • Set technical direction for engineering and maintenance teams.
  • Plan and manage engineering projects to achieve operational goals and budgets.
  • Oversee capital projects and support R&D for new products and processes.
  • Design and improve manufacturing equipment, tooling, and systems.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, supply chain, and commercial teams to support operations.
  • Ensure compliance with quality management systems and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare technical reports and develop clear documentation.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and policy development.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering roles
  • Experience managing engineering teams and projects
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment design
  • Continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience with quality management systems and regulatory standards
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
