Job Description

Overview

Adecco is partnering with a manufacturing facility in Peterborough, NH to hire a Manufacturing Engineer specializing in aerospace. This direct-hire role involves technical assessments, process implementation, and project leadership within a dynamic team in the aerospace sector.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform Design for Manufacturability analysis and develop solutions for aerospace components and bearings.
  • Implement production and tooling methodologies for bearing assemblies.
  • Create and release manufacturing plans and work instructions from 2D and 3D engineering drawings.
  • Communicate timelines and manage task execution for high-quality manufacturing output.
  • Lead Capital Expenditure projects from analysis through completion.
  • Resolve escalated technical issues focusing on performance, cost, and schedule.
  • Participate in Kaizen events and implement LEAN principles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance process efficiencies.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Manufacturing Engineering
  • Aerospace experience preferred
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks
  • Strong skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Blueprint reading and engineering drawing interpretation
  • Capital Justification Analysis for ROI
  • Problem-solving and interpersonal skills
