Job Description

Overview

The Manufacturing and Process Engineer at Clarios will participate in various projects within the Manufacturing Facility, focusing on mechanical, electrical, and system design for assembly processes and equipment. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, providing technical support, developing process specifications, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Participate in small and large manufacturing projects
  • Provide mechanical, electrical, and system design deliverables
  • Develop and update process specifications and work instructions
  • Function as Project Lead for smaller development projects
  • Provide technical support for plant operations and maintenance
  • Prepare project review information for leadership
  • Implement process changes on existing equipment
  • Travel to supplier sites for equipment qualification
  • Assist with safety, environmental, and quality compliance

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Manufacturing preferred)
  • Minimum 6 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to interpret electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics
  • Experience in PLC programming (RSlogix/Studio5000, Allen Bradley)
  • Proficient in 3D modeling and 2D drafting (SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with Minitab and Six Sigma methodologies
