Job title: Manager, Regulatory TrainingDepartment: Training & Technology ServicesReports to: Director, Training & Technology ServicesLocation of job: HeadquartersWork schedule: Full time, 40 hours/5 days per weekFLSA status: Exempt Position summary:The Manager of Regulatory Training is responsible for the development and management of high-quality, video-based and digital training content for AAAE's learning platforms. This role applies working knowledge of airport operations and aviation regulations to translate regulatory and operational requirements into accurate, engaging instructional content, in collaboration with subject matter experts, production staff, and customers.Serving as a content lead and project manager, this position oversees the end-to-end lifecycle of assigned training projects from concept and script development through production, delivery, and post-implementation updates ensuring consistency, quality, and alignment with AAAE standards.Primary duties and responsibilities:Lead the development of airport-focused training content across AAAE digital learning platformsMonitor FAA and TSA regulatory updates and collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training content reflects current requirementsServe as content lead and project manager for customized CBT programs, coordinating timelines, resources, and deliverablesPartner with customers and SMEs to ensure technical accuracy and instructional clarityOversee content development through production, deployment, and post-installation supportEdit, maintain, and update both standardized and customized training scripts and templatesCoordinate with production and IT teams to support course delivery and system implementationContribute to continuous improvement of training templates, workflows, and production standardsProvide functional guidance to production staff or contractors assigned to projects, as neededPerform other related duties and assignments as required to support AAAE's learning platformsEducation, prior work experience, and specialized skills and knowledge:Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience2-4 years of relevant work experience Working knowledge of airport operations and FAA/TSA regulatory environmentsExperience managing digital content, video production, or computer-based training projectsStrong project management, organizational, and customer service skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail and deadlines Typical physical demands/work environment:To successfully perform the essential functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation, an employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to grasp objects; reach with hands/arms; balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch; speak or listen; lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds; use close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focused vision.
