Overview

The Manager of Prospect Research & Stewardship at the National Council on Aging (NCOA) is focused on enhancing corporate giving efforts by identifying new funding opportunities and managing relationships with existing corporate partners. This role collaborates with the Philanthropic Partnerships team to develop strategies for prospect research and stewardship, essential for expanding NCOA's funding pipeline and furthering its mission to improve the lives of older adults.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth research to identify and qualify new corporate funding prospects.
  • Analyze corporate giving programs and align them with NCOA's mission.
  • Design and implement a comprehensive stewardship program for corporate partners.
  • Develop customized stewardship plans for corporate donors.
  • Prepare detailed corporate profiles and proposals to support fundraising efforts.
  • Maintain accurate Salesforce records for corporate prospects and stewardship activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align corporate and foundation giving efforts.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years in corporate prospect research or stewardship management
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret corporate data
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
