Overview

The Sporting Club at The Bellevue is seeking a Manager on Duty (MOD) to enhance its operations and customer service in a recently renovated fitness facility. The MOD will oversee club operations, ensure member satisfaction, and manage compliance with established policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities

  • Open and close the club at established times
  • Ensure compliance with club access policies
  • Provide coverage on the fitness floor during staff breaks
  • Manage emergency procedures and contacts
  • Complete incident reports accurately and promptly
  • Ensure the appearance and functionality of all equipment and amenities
  • Address member service issues and complete necessary reports
  • Conduct tours for prospective members
  • Maintain knowledge of company policies and club programs
  • Assist with club automation to resolve member issues

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Two or more years of management experience in fitness or athletics
  • Current CPR/AED and first aid certification
  • Proficient in MS Office and club automation software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently or in a team
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, late nights, and weekends
