Job DescriptionJob DescriptionManager of Student Enrollment San Francisco Bay Area, CA and Seattle, WA Summit Public Schools is seeking a passionate, outgoing, and relationship-driven leader to serve as its next Manager of Student Enrollment. This highly active, front-line role is ideal for someone with a strong background in community outreach, grassroots engagement, field operations, and family-facing recruitment. The Manager of Student Enrollment will lead efforts to build and strengthen Summit's student recruitment pipeline, helping families and students learn about and access high-quality educational options. This role is responsible for supporting the organization's recruitment, enrollment, and registration policies and processes; managing key operational systems related to enrollment and registration; and serving as an advocate for families as they navigate school choice. The ideal candidate is a natural relationship-builder who is energized by direct community engagement, whether through door-to-door canvassing, campaign-style events, family outreach, or partnerships with local organizations. This person will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure families have clear, accurate information and a seamless experience from initial interest through enrollment. The Manager of Student Enrollment reports to the Director of Regional Operations and collaborates closely with the outreach team, operations team, school leaders, and organizational leadership.Who We Are: What if all students graduated high school with the knowledge, skills and habits they need to lead a fulfilled life? Join us!What You'll Do: Student Recruitment and EnrollmentProvides strategic leadership, insight, and vision for enrollment and registration philosophies, policies, and processes.Creates and maintains enrollment strategies specific to the application and enrollment process, including application development and processing, lottery, stakeholder outreach, relationship management with external parties (e.g. feeder schools) and communication with potential and incoming families.Act as a primary internal and external expert within Summit Public Schools for all topics related to recruitment and enrollment.Provides regular information and analysis to Organization Leadership, the Board and other community stakeholders on the progress of student recruitment and enrollment across the organization, highlighting successes and opportunities for improvement.Creates and maintains a comprehensive data dashboard tracking enrollment across the organization, monitoring trends including student retention, departures and intra-organization transfers.Collects, monitors and reports performance metrics, solicits feedback and evaluates effectiveness of enrollment processes related to applications, registration, and student need identification (e.g. multilingual learners, IEPs, housing insecurity).Maintains effective continuous improvement mechanisms, makes recommendations for sustainable improvements, and successfully executes change initiatives.Leads and supports in-person school and network-wide recruitment and enrollment activities & events (i.e. open houses, tabling, canvassing, community presentations, high school fairs) during work hours and occasionally during evenings and weekends.Provides side-by-side support for school-based Special Projects Managers and Offi
