Job Description

Overview

H&K Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance/Operator for their Hazleton Quarry in Weatherly, Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will focus on plant maintenance and production support, demonstrating safety awareness and teamwork. A CDL license is not required for this position.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform plant maintenance according to MSHA and H&K Safety policies
  • Maintain clean work areas including catwalks, walk-ways, and general plant area
  • Proactively learn plant functions and operations
  • Take direction from and collaborate with site personnel
  • Cross train to learn all jobs of the plant

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent (such as GED)
  • At least 1 year of quarry experience
  • 1+ years of welding experience or equivalent training
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Ability to meet physical requirements including lifting and movement
  • Experience operating heavy equipment
  • MSHA or other relevant safety certification
