Job Description

Overview

The Maintenance Technician III at Marriott International is responsible for addressing guest repair requests and performing preventive maintenance on various tools and equipment. This role requires strong mechanical skills, troubleshooting abilities, and the capacity to work with minimal supervision while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Respond to and attend to guest repair requests
  • Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication
  • Troubleshoot and repair various equipment, including plumbing and electrical systems
  • Use Lockout/Tagout system before any maintenance work
  • Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies
  • Communicate daily activities and problems with other shifts
  • Train and mentor other engineers as necessary
  • Perform Engineer on Duty responsibilities, including readings and rounds
