The maintenance technician will work with the team to troubleshoot production issues, provide preventative maintenance to equipment and repairs as needed.Duties/Responsibilities:Perform preventative maintenance on equipment (Air Compressor, Rolling Stock, Production Machinery, HVAC, plumbing, etc.)Able to troubleshoot machinery/reading schematics.Perform timely repairs on hand tools as needed (e.g. drills, saws).Communicate needs with purchasing department proactively.Repair/rebuild welding leads.Use knowledge to perform maintenance during production when there is an issue as needed. Practice proper Lock Out/Tag Out procedures if applicable.Fill Loctite cartridges for departments as needed. Store tools and materials in proper locations when not in use.Maintain clean and safe work area.Required Skills/Abilities: Prior experience working preventative maintenance in a manufacturing facility. Electrical background helpful. Use various power and hand tools, experience required. Able to read and use a tape measure.Read and follow work instructions.Able to work 40 - 60 hours a week. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.Good attendance is a must.Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods standing, reaching, bending, kneeling, and twisting.Must be able to move up to 75 pounds at times.Follow health and safety rules.
