Overview

Match Education is seeking a Lower Elementary Special Education Teacher for their PreK-12 charter public school in Boston, which serves a diverse student population. The role focuses on providing support and instruction to students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) while promoting an inclusive and high-expectation learning environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide inclusion support and instruction in regular education classes for IEP students
  • Teach separate classes when necessary
  • Manage the school's Special Education programming, including paperwork and compliance requirements
  • Uphold high academic and behavioral expectations for students
  • Participate in coaching and professional development programming
  • Assist with school programming during non-instructional time

Required skills
