Job Description

Overview

LBS Financial Credit Union is seeking a Loan Processor II for their Westminster, California location. This mid-level position is ideal for candidates with prior experience in mortgage loan processing and underwriting, responsible for processing various mortgage loans while ensuring compliance with established guidelines and regulations.

Key responsibilities

  • Process and underwrite first mortgage refinances, purchases, and HELOC/second TD loans
  • Review loan application information according to departmental procedures
  • Ensure compliance with Fannie Mae guidelines and current regulatory standards
  • Evaluate appraisal reports, credit reports, and loan documentation
  • Assemble fully processed loan files for final underwriting and approval
  • Stay updated on changes in investor programs and pricing
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Required skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in residential lending processing
  • Familiarity with LOS system FICS and online underwriting systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations accurately
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
