Overview

Ben's Structural Fabrication is seeking a Loader/Paint Booth Operator to join their team in Saint Cloud, Minnesota. This role involves loading semi-trailers with fabricated steel components, applying industrial paint finishes, and ensuring a continuous material flow in the paint booth. The ideal candidate will enjoy a hands-on environment, prioritize safety, and contribute to the quality of projects.

Key responsibilities

  • Load and unload the paint booth to ensure consistent material flow.
  • Safely load finished steel components for transportation to job sites.
  • Operate overhead crane and rigging systems to move heavy structural beams.
  • Read and interpret packing slips to verify all components and hardware.
  • Ensure all pieces are labeled and painted per specifications.
  • Apply industrial paint finishes to structural steel according to job standards.
  • Maintain legibility of part markings after painting.
  • Monitor and maintain paint inventory; complete requisitions as needed.
  • Perform daily and quarterly maintenance and cleaning of paint booth and equipment.
  • Safely dispose of painting materials and waste.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work environment.
