Overview

Hazleton Quarry, a division of H&K Group, Inc., is looking for a motivated and experienced Loader Operator to ensure the smooth operation of plant equipment. This full-time position requires adherence to safety protocols and involves various responsibilities related to equipment maintenance and production efficiency.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate plant equipment according to MSHA and company safety policies
  • Perform daily greasing and oil checks on crushers and screens
  • Keep walkways clear and report spillage issues to the superintendent
  • Conduct daily guarding inspections and plant checks
  • Inspect screen media for proper condition to maximize production
  • Maintain a clean operating booth free from inappropriate materials
  • Suggest changes to improve efficiency of operations
  • Assist workers in solving production problems when necessary
  • Complete necessary paperwork daily

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Experience operating heavy equipment
  • Loader operation experience preferred
  • Experience in quarry or outdoor industrial settings
  • MSHA or relevant safety certification
  • Ability to meet physical requirements related to the job
