Overview

H&K Group, Inc. is seeking a motivated and experienced Loader Operator for their Hazleton Quarry in Weatherly, Pennsylvania. The role involves operating plant equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to safety policies and maintenance protocols.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate heavy equipment according to MSHA and H&K Safety policies
  • Perform daily greasing and oil checks on crushers and screens
  • Keep walkways clear and report spillage issues to the superintendent
  • Conduct daily guarding inspections and plant checks
  • Inspect screen media for proper condition to maximize production
  • Maintain cleanliness of the operating booth
  • Assist workers in solving production problems when needed
  • Fill out necessary paperwork daily

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem solving abilities
  • Experience operating heavy equipment, specifically Loader operation
  • MSHA or other relevant safety certification
