Overview

Beacon Specialized Living is seeking a Live In Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health challenges, and autism in achieving personal goals while maintaining independence. This role involves residing on the business premises to provide essential support and care, with a focus on compassion, reliability, and professional development.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with daily living skills and personal care
  • Support community engagement and recreational activities
  • Prepare meals and maintain a clean, organized home environment
  • Transport individuals to appointments and community activities
  • Administer medications as directed
  • Maintain accurate documentation and advocate for individuals served
  • Promote dignity, respect, and person-centered support

Required skills

  • Compassionate and dependable

  • Team-oriented
  • At least 18 years old
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle with car insurance
  • GED or High School Diploma
