Overview

BDF Law Group is seeking a hybrid Litigation Attorney in Addison, Texas, to handle complex litigation matters primarily related to mortgage banking, financial institutions, real estate, and foreclosure law. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of litigation experience and a strong foundation in both state and federal court practices, all while contributing to a work culture that emphasizes communication, respect, and effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare essential legal documents for litigation in various Texas courts
  • Manage financial services, mortgage, and real estate litigation cases from referral to resolution
  • Conduct written and oral advocacy, motion practice, discovery, depositions, ADR, trial, and appeals
  • Collaborate with attorneys to strategize on complex cases and ensure timely case progression

Required skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Texas State Bar license
  • Ability to handle complex cases and develop strategic legal solutions
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills
  • Strong written and oral advocacy skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration
