Overview

BDF Law Group is seeking a Litigation Attorney in Tucker, Georgia, offering a hybrid work environment. This role will involve managing complex litigation matters primarily in financial services, mortgage banking, and real estate law, with a focus on both state and federal court cases.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare essential legal documents, including pleadings, legal briefs, motions, and appeals
  • Manage financial services, mortgage, and real estate litigation cases from referral to resolution
  • Engage in written and oral advocacy, motion practice, discovery, depositions, ADR, trial, and appeals
  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys to strategize on complex cases and ensure timely case progression

Required skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience
  • Deep understanding of legal strategies in financial services, mortgage, collections, and real estate law
  • Proven ability to handle complex cases and develop strategic legal solutions
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills
  • Strong advocacy skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective collaboration with clients, colleagues, and court personnel
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Georgia State Bar license
  • Licensed to practice in both state and federal courts in Georgia
