Overview

BDF Law Group is seeking a litigation attorney in Tucker, Georgia, to manage complex litigation matters related to mortgage banking, financial institutions, real estate, and foreclosure law. This role offers a hybrid work environment and emphasizes work-life balance along with a commitment to CARE—Communication, Attitude, Respect, and Effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare essential legal documents, including pleadings, legal briefs, motions, appeals, and contracts for litigation.
  • Manage financial services, mortgage, and real estate litigation cases from referral to resolution.
  • Engage in written and oral advocacy, motion practice, discovery, depositions, ADR, trial, and appeals.
  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys to strategize on complex cases and ensure timely case progression.

Required skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience, specifically in financial services, mortgage, and real estate law.
  • Ability to handle complex cases and develop strategic legal solutions.
  • Proficiency in legal research and writing.
  • Strong advocacy skills, both written and oral.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Georgia State Bar license and licensed to practice in state and federal courts in Georgia.
