Overview

BDF Law Group is seeking a Litigation Attorney based in Tucker, Georgia, to manage complex litigation matters pertaining to mortgage banking, financial institutions, real estate, and foreclosure law. This hybrid position allows for a flexible work-life balance, promoting a culture of communication, respect, and effectiveness within the team.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare legal documents including pleadings, briefs, motions, and contracts
  • Manage financial services, mortgage, and real estate litigation cases from referral to resolution
  • Engage in written and oral advocacy, motion practice, discovery, depositions, ADR, trial, and appeals
  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys on complex cases to ensure timely case progression

Required skills

  • Minimum 2 years of litigation experience
  • Strong background in financial services, mortgage, and real estate law
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills
  • Strong oral and written advocacy skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Georgia State Bar license
  • Licensed to practice in state and federal courts in Georgia
