Overview

Gottlieb & Greenspan, a law firm specializing in healthcare reimbursement litigation, is looking for a motivated Civil Litigation Attorney to join their team. This role involves managing an active caseload from inception to resolution within a collaborative environment that promotes professional growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage cases from inception through resolution
  • Draft and file complaints and responsive pleadings
  • Draft and argue dispositive motions
  • Develop litigation strategy in reimbursement and coverage disputes
  • Engage in settlement negotiations
  • Appear in NJ and/or NY state and federal courts
  • Collaborate on complex healthcare litigation matters involving regulatory and reimbursement frameworks

Required skills

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  • 3+ years of civil litigation experience
  • Licensed and in good standing in New Jersey or New York
  • Federal court admission (either USDNJ or EDNY/SDNY)
  • Experience in healthcare litigation, insurance coverage, or reimbursement disputes (preferred but not required)
  • Strong legal writing and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage cases independently
