Overview

Miller Berger LLC, a law firm specializing in corporate, construction, litigation, and real estate law, is seeking an experienced full-time Litigation and Corporate Paralegal. This role involves managing litigation matters, supporting case strategy, and adapting to dynamic priorities within the firm.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage litigation matters from inception to resolution, maintaining organized case files
  • Maintain accurate case calendars and monitor deadlines to ensure compliance with court rules
  • Prepare, revise, format, file, and serve pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery materials
  • Coordinate and manage all phases of discovery, including drafting and responding to written discovery
  • Conduct legal research related to motion practice, hearings, and trial preparation
  • Request, review, and analyze client records and third-party documents
  • Prepare, serve, and track subpoenas for records and depositions
  • Assist attorneys in preparing for depositions, mediations, and trials
  • Support expert engagement by researching potential experts
  • Communicate with courts, clients, and legal personnel in a professional manner
  • Accurately track and record time in accordance with firm and client requirements
  • Open to learning other areas of law such as real estate
