Overview

Pacific Life is seeking a Liquidity & Collateral Modeling Senior Analyst to join their Treasury team in Charlotte, NC. This role involves supporting the strategic advancement of liquidity and collateral management for the enterprise, focusing on modeling and aggregating liquidity, collateral, and FX calculations while collaborating with various teams within the company.

Key responsibilities

  • Model and aggregate quarterly/monthly liquidity, collateral, and FX calculations for the enterprise.
  • Forecast balance sheet for each entity and develop a rolling plan for key management metrics.
  • Lead external regulator/stakeholder survey, filing, and disclosure activities.
  • Provide pro-forma key metrics for financial transactions.
  • Monitor emerging developments in liquidity and collateral regulations.
  • Collaborate with actuarial, finance, and risk teams on asset-liability modeling.
  • Support development and documentation of financial optimization solutions.
  • Liaise with regulatory, compliance, and legal teams to ensure governance.
  • Create and update documentation supporting modeling and decision frameworks.

Required skills

  • 3+ years of experience in Treasury, Finance, Liquidity, FX, or Risk Management.
  • Experience in the insurance, banking, or financial services industry.
  • Degree in a quantitative field.
  • Professional certification such as CFA or FRM in-process or completed.
  • Superior technical skills with financial data and modeling tools.
  • Experience building financial or liquidity models.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
