It's an opportunity to create moments that matter, build relationships, and help residents live lives filled with meaning, engagement, and enjoyment.If you're energetic, creative, and passionate about helping others, this may be the perfect role for you.What You'll DoAs a Life Enrichment Specialist, you'll help create meaningful experiences that support emotional, social, spiritual, cognitive, and physical well-being.Responsibilities include:Planning and facilitating activities and eventsEncouraging resident participation and engagementSupporting residents during outings and community eventsOrganizing parties, celebrations, and special eventsAssisting with resident assessments and care planningPromoting independence and resident choiceBuilding relationships with residents and familiesCollaborating with interdisciplinary team membersSupporting Byron's mission of fostering purpose-filled livesMost importantly, you'll help residents continue living lives filled with meaning, connection, and enjoyment.Job TypeFull time and part time availableEvery other weekend and rotating holidays required Requirements: Required QualificationsMust possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or its equivalent.Must possess a valid Indiana State Drivers License with at least three years driving experience, and be comfortable driving residents in 15 passenger busMust be at least 25 years oldPreferred QualificationsPreferred experience in a life enrichment / activities roleExperience working with individuals living with dementia, behavioral health challenges, developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injuries, or other specialized populations.Compensation details: 16-16.71 Hourly WagePIb01890d52d46-4224
