Job Description

Overview

The Thrive Network is seeking a Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join their team in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. This temporary role, with the potential to become permanent, involves providing mental health counseling services to children and families, particularly focusing on at-risk youth with trauma. Candidates will work both in-office and through telehealth, collaborating with a diverse team of professionals dedicated to enhancing the lives of their clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide direct mental health services to children and families
  • Complete intake and assessment for treatment and billing
  • Design and implement mental health treatment plans
  • Collaborate with team members including care managers and educators
  • Provide mental health telephone counseling for emergencies
  • Attend monthly staff meetings and supervision as required

Required skills

  • Current New Jersey clinical licensure (LCSW, LSW, LPC, LAC, LAMFT, or LMFT)
  • Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
  • Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field
  • Two or more years' experience in mental health counseling for children and families
  • Experience with trauma-informed care and play/expressive therapy
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team member
  • Good computer skills and familiarity with smartphone applications
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Reliability, punctuality, and organization
