What You'll Do: Lead a Crew: Supervise and guide a team of up to 10 electricians, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality installations. Manage Projects: Interpret blueprints, layouts, and code specifications to execute projects aligned with the National Electric Code. Ensure Safety: Conduct safety meetings, enforce OSHA standards, and maintain a hazard-free job site. Delegate Tasks: Assign responsibilities and monitor progress to meet project milestones. Communicate with Clients: Serve as the primary point of contact for site superintendents, clients, and construction partners. Mentor Apprentices: Train and support apprentices to build their skills and uphold industry standards. Control Inventory: Oversee tools and materials, ensuring readiness and availability for each job. Track Change Orders: Monitor, document, and process change orders to ensure accurate scope adjustments and timely billing. Inspect & Close Out: Perform final inspections, ensure site cleanliness, and complete closeout documentation. Respond to Emergencies: Handle urgent service calls and maintain accurate work logs and updates. Hands-On Installation: Execute electrical installations from rough-in to finish, including panels, switch gears, lighting systems, and mechanical power.
