Overview

Immense Networks is seeking a Level One Technical Engineer focused on providing first-line IT support. This entry-level role involves troubleshooting client issues, maintaining systems, and escalating complex problems to senior engineers, offering a great opportunity for those eager to grow their technical skills in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide remote and on-site technical support to end users
  • Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, and network issues
  • Configure and deploy desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices
  • Assist with onboarding/offboarding of users, including account creation and device setup
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks and system updates
  • Monitor and respond to support tickets in a timely manner
  • Escalate unresolved issues to Level Two Engineers
  • Document support steps, resolutions, and system configurations
  • Maintain asset inventory and assist with equipment tracking
  • Support Microsoft 365 services such as Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive

Required skills

  • 0-2 years of experience in an IT support or help desk role
  • Foundational knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Administration and Windows operating systems
  • Basic understanding of Active Directory and Azure Active Directory
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service mindset
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and respond with urgency
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and grow within the role
  • Certifications such as MS-900: Microsoft 365 fundamentals are a plus
