Job Description

Overview

The Level 4 Installer at CBM of America will be responsible for leading a team of installers in performing advanced installation work activities related to communications technology solutions. This role requires a strong focus on customer satisfaction and the ability to work with minimal supervision, ensuring high quality and timely completion of projects.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Level 1, 2, 3, and 4 installers on various projects
  • Input job status, issues, and expense-related information into the Project Management platform
  • Reconcile materials for sales orders using web-based inventory control forms
  • Ensure all work meets customer and internal quality standards
  • Perform hardware testing such as power verification and system tests
  • Maintain tools assigned to the job and monitor tool calibration requirements
  • Interface with the Installation Supervisor or Project Manager to resolve order issues
  • Control on-site job aspects and maintain profitability objectives

Required skills

  • Minimum 5 years of Data Center/PoP/CO installation experience
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of basic power tools
  • Familiarity with optical routing equipment installations
  • Knowledge of fiber optic cable installation and testing practices
  • Understanding of AC/DC power systems
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet usage
  • Ability to adapt to various work environments
  • Clean driving and criminal records; must pass a drug test
