Job DescriptionJob DescriptionResponsibilities Include: Working and maintaining client cases in Case Management SoftwarePreparing and sending letters of representationObtaining police reports/incident reportsObtaining driver recordsObtaining cell phone recordsHandling property damage claimsMaking Open Records Requests for reports, dash cam and body camera videos from law enforcementVerifying insurance and setting up liability, personal injury protection, uninsured/underinsured and health insurance claimsSending out Preservation Notices to adverse carriers and defendantsSetting up inspections, if neededDrafting client correspondenceCommunicating with clients to determine medical provider informationMaintaining client contact to determine treatment statusObtaining a health insurance or Medicaid/Medicare statement of payments made on behalf of the client and making sure they relate to the accidentObtaining lien or subrogation information and updating Case Management SoftwarePreparing demand letters for liability, personal injury protection and uninsured/underinsuredAssisting with follow up calls to adjustersScheduling regular monthly file reviews with attorneysPreparing settlement breakdownsAssisting with obtaining reductionsAssist the Paralegal and AttorneyPrepare Binders with Discovery materialsPrepare Binders in preparation for a hearing, deposition, or mediationProperly disposing of confidential materialsSaving and adding invoices to expenses in case management softwareSaving E-filings and E-service files and posting them on case management softwareSkills and Qualifications:Strong analytical skillsPower user of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat ProfessionalFamiliarity with Case Management software a plusOrganizedAbility to work well under pressureSpeak SpanishEducation and Requirements:Minimum 2 years of experience in personal injury law
