Overview

MinistryHub is partnering with Archer's Chapel Church in Halls, Tennessee, to find a Lead Pastor who is relational and passionate about preaching God's Word. The role involves leading a caring congregation and guiding them towards community outreach, church growth, and spiritual development.

Key responsibilities

  • Preach and teach Scripture faithfully and clearly.
  • Lead Sunday worship services with preparation and pastoral presence.
  • Provide consistent pastoral care to members across all life stages.
  • Visit church members and individuals in need.
  • Develop church leaders and strengthen ministry systems.
  • Lead youth and family engagement initiatives.
  • Encourage discipleship through small groups and relational environments.

Required skills

  • Strong biblical teaching and preaching skills
  • Relational leadership and pastoral counseling
  • Experience in church leadership and development
  • Ability to provide pastoral care and community outreach
  • Familiarity with rural and small-community ministry
  • Bachelor's degree required; seminary training preferred
