Overview

The Lead Laundry Attendant at Marriott International is responsible for maintaining laundry operations and ensuring completion of laundry requests for various departments. This role includes managing machinery, chemical supplies, and maintaining quality standards while supporting a positive team environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records of laundered items.
  • Verify completion of laundry requests for each department.
  • Replenish laundry supplies and monitor chemical levels.
  • Operate and monitor washing and drying machinery, including adding chemicals.
  • Identify stained or damaged items and decide on appropriate actions.
  • Assist management in hiring, training, and coaching employees.
  • Follow safety and security policies, reporting any issues.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
