Overview

The Lead Fulfillment Associate at Amazon.com Services LLC plays a crucial role in ensuring effective operations within the fulfillment center. This position involves various responsibilities, including training associates, managing inventory, and facilitating communication among teams to achieve operational goals. The role is integral in supporting both daily management tasks and troubleshooting operational challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform production duties including picking/packing orders and ensuring inventory accuracy
  • Communicate instructions and motivate other associates
  • Assist in training and development of new associates
  • Manage inbound and outbound logistics, including scheduling and coordinating deliveries
  • Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
  • Utilize tools and systems to track and manage inventory and orders

Required skills

  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for 12-hour shifts
  • 1+ year of leadership experience managing others
  • Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or large retail environments
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with performance metrics and lean process improvement
