Job Description

Overview

LEAP is looking for a motivated Lead Direct Support Professional (Program Support-PS1) to manage front-line operations while providing administrative and direct service support. This role is essential for ensuring quality service delivery to individuals with developmental, cognitive, and intellectual disabilities, while promoting a positive and compassionate working environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain regular DSP schedule and serve as a role model.
  • Ensure adherence to Home and Community Based Services guidelines.
  • Provide backup support to the Administrator for payroll processing.
  • Track and reconcile cash accounts and purchases.
  • Participate in staff and management meetings, taking minutes as needed.
  • Maintain DSP training files and manage new hire paperwork.
  • Update residential files and track medical appointments for individuals.
  • Coordinate medication orders and maintain medication administration records.
  • Offer general office support and assist other programs as assigned.
