Overview

As a Lead AI Engineer at Capital One, you will be part of a team dedicated to creating responsible and reliable AI systems that transform banking experiences. The role focuses on leveraging machine learning and AI technologies to enhance customer interactions and internal processes, while collaborating with a diverse team of engineers and research scientists.

Key responsibilities

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered products
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI software components
  • Leverage Open Source and SaaS AI technologies
  • Invent state-of-the-art LLM optimization techniques
  • Contribute to the technical vision and roadmap of foundational AI systems

Required skills

  • 4+ years of experience developing AI and ML algorithms or technologies
