Overview

As a Lead AI Engineer at Capital One, you will be part of a team that is at the forefront of leveraging AI and machine learning to transform banking for good. The role involves developing AI-powered products and solutions that enhance customer interactions and improve operational efficiencies.

Key responsibilities

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered products.
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI software components.
  • Leverage Open Source and SaaS AI technologies for large-scale production AI systems.
  • Invent and optimize LLM techniques for performance improvements.
  • Contribute to the technical vision and long-term roadmap of AI systems.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, or related fields.
  • 4+ years of experience developing AI and ML algorithms.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, Scala, or Java.
