They are seeking a Lapping / O.D. Grinding Operator to support operations within their Lapping Department.ResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor lapping/grinding machines to perform precision finishing operations.Set up parts according to specifications and work instructions.Perform lapping processes to achieve required flatness, surface finish, and dimensional tolerances.Inspect parts using measuring tools and document results.Identify issues or defects and communicate concerns to supervision or engineering.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.QualificationsPreviouse experience using gagesAbility to lift up to 50 poundsPrior machine operating experience (lapping experience preferred -willing to train the right candidate).Basic math skills (addition and subtraction).Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.Ability to follow work instructions and quality requirements.Reliable, punctual, and honest - comfortable speaking up if unsure or if an issue arises.Willingness to learn.
