Overview

Lane Enterprises is seeking a Laborer II to join their team in Statesville, North Carolina. This role involves performing various tasks under close supervision, contributing to a clean working environment, and supporting workflow as needed.

Key responsibilities

  • Cleans and lubricates equipment
  • Maintains a manufacturing area free from debris and dirt
  • Prepares or puts away tools as assigned
  • Cares for property by cutting grass and removing weeds or snow
  • May operate forklift when needed
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions
  • Physical stamina for prolonged periods of standing and walking
  • Manual dexterity to operate machinery and equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures
  • Education: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience preferred
