Overview

Texas Roadhouse is seeking a Kitchen Manager to oversee all Back of House operations, ensuring the preparation and presentation of food products align with established recipes and procedures. This role is crucial for maintaining food quality, safety, and team performance in a fun and dynamic work environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise and oversee food production and preparation
  • Enforce compliance with employment policies and restaurant cleanliness
  • Direct productivity to maintain effective food item ticket times
  • Manage performance of Back of House employees, including evaluations and coaching
  • Assist with the development of key employees and provide daily performance feedback
  • Conduct formal line Taste & Temp checks for inventory and safety
  • Oversee handling, maintenance, and storage of kitchen items
  • Manage food costs, track waste, and control kitchen labor costs
  • Direct work for Back of House employees including setting schedules and assigning tasks
  • Train employees on equipment maintenance and cleaning procedures
  • Review applications, interview, and hire Back of House employees
  • Create a safe, fun, and clean work environment consistent with core values
