Overview

Texas Roadhouse is seeking a Kitchen Manager for their Charlottesville, Virginia location. The Kitchen Manager will oversee all Back of House operations, ensuring food quality, safety, and compliance with restaurant policies while leading a team dedicated to providing legendary service.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise and oversee food production and preparation according to established recipes.
  • Enforce compliance with employment policies and maintain cleanliness and safety.
  • Monitor and maintain efficient food item ticket times.
  • Manage performance evaluations, coaching, and discipline for Back of House employees.
  • Conduct formal line Taste & Temp checks and oversee kitchen safety.
  • Manage food costs, track waste, and control kitchen labor costs.
  • Set hours and weekly schedules for Back of House employees.
  • Train employees on equipment maintenance and cleaning procedures.
  • Review applications and assist in hiring Back of House staff.
  • Create a safe, fun, and clean work environment.
