Overview

Texas Roadhouse is seeking a Kitchen Manager in Midlothian, Virginia to oversee all Back of House operations, ensuring the timely preparation and presentation of food. This role emphasizes a people-first approach and aims to maintain high standards of food safety and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise food production and preparation according to recipes and procedures
  • Enforce compliance with employment policies and maintain cleanliness and safety standards
  • Monitor food item ticket times for efficiency
  • Manage performance of Back of House employees and conduct evaluations
  • Assist in developing key employees through performance feedback
  • Conduct Taste & Temp checks for inventory and safety
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of food items
  • Manage food costs, track waste, and control kitchen labor costs
  • Direct work for Back of House employees and set schedules
  • Train employees on equipment maintenance and cleaning procedures
  • Review applications and participate in the hiring process
  • Create a safe and enjoyable work environment
