Overview

Texas Roadhouse is seeking a passionate Kitchen Manager for their Suffolk, Virginia location. This role oversees all Back of House operations, including the purchasing, preparation, and presentation of food, ensuring compliance with established recipes and safety procedures.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise and oversee food production and preparation
  • Enforce compliance with employment policies and ensure cleanliness of the restaurant
  • Monitor efficiency of food item ticket times
  • Manage performance of Back of House employees, including coaching and evaluations
  • Assist in developing key employees and provide daily performance feedback
  • Conduct formal line Taste & Temp checks
  • Oversee proper handling, maintenance, and storage of kitchen items
  • Manage food costs and kitchen labor costs
  • Direct work for Back of House employees and set schedules
  • Train employees on equipment maintenance and cleaning procedures
  • Review applications and conduct interviews for hiring
  • Create a safe and fun work environment consistent with core values
